In recognition of the value of regional bodies establishing a network of community NRM groups and their role in supporting and raising the capacity of these groups, Envirofund provided BDTNRM with a $6,000 grant to hold a coastal community group training, awareness raising and networking workshops. Coastal Community Groups and Traditional owner groups are invited, with the view to harnessing the existing capacity and more effectively supporting the valuable work of coastal Community NRM groups to enable them to apply for Envirofund grants.
